SINCE releasing her first album in 2000, Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Penny Tai has composed and written the lyrics to all her songs.

For 3 years, Penny has gained a loyal following of fans and supporters in Singapore. However, her fans are mostly quiet and tend to keep a low-profile. As such, Pennchant was founded on 14 March 2003.

Pennchant is derived from the combination of Penny's name and the English word 'penchant' which means to have a strong liking for something.

Pennchant started out in 2003 as a small club with less than 10 members. Their primary goal is to gather together fans of Penny so as to actively support her in her career and music.

To achieve their goal, this website was created. This website is the focal point for all things connected with Penny Tai. It aims to be a platform for fans to stay in touch, communicate and share experiences with each other before, during and after gatherings and events.

About the Logo

The logo was created using the image of an electric guitar. The guitar was chosen as it was the first musical instrument linked to Penny in her early albums.
